Empower Mental Health was established to provide mental health training and education to Australian businesses. Our aim is to reduce the stigma and misunderstanding around mental health, reduce the risk of workers’ compensation claims and help businesses create mentally healthy workplaces.
We have worked with many businesses to improve their knowledge around mental health and helping them create a mentally healthy workplace. The business’s we have worked with span across a multitude of industry sectors: Some of these include health & aged care, first responders, social services, manufacturing, public transport, corrections, local government and many more.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Post – Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Hons) and Master’s Degree in Psychology, our co Director is an expert in all aspects of mental health and wellbeing. Having been a previous winner in WorkSafe Victoria’s annual awards for his involvement for Innovation in Mental Health and Wellbeing, which provided immediate support to clients impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, a finalist in numerous other industry awards, and a guest speaker at safety conferences, our training is built with expertise.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the workers compensation industry, and a passion for working with businesses and strategic partners to help identify and minimize risks within the workplace our co Director strives to improve the understanding of mental health within our clients workplace. With a Diploma of Psychology, Diploma of Criminal Psychology and being an Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor he extends his passion to help businesses strive to create mentally heathy workplace and works in a volunteering role for Corrections Victoria.
